Networking in computer

What is the Networking or Network.

You all know aware about network or networking but both are different term in definition.Let,s start some basic idea about our computer network or computer networking.

Networking 

Networking is the process of connecting,securing,maintaining ..etc the network.

Computer network is a digital telecommunications network which allows nodes to share resources.

A Network is a group of computers connected with each other to share the resources such as data and files sharing,device sharing.
Example -If we connect one printer on computer in network and share that printer with other computers on network.Such type of example we can see in our real life Banks,ATM Machine,Railway Ticket booking counter,cyber cafe.

Advantage of Network

• Data Sharing - Hardware Sharing such as cdrom/dvd and Printer Sharing on network for accessing cd/dvd data from one computer to another computer & Share printer for another PC,s via network.
• Internet Access Sharing -We can see our corporate offices use some public IP,s from ISP but provide entire network users internet using NAT process.
• Application Sharing - Such asE-mail and Banks software.
• Time Saving - Time saving is another example of network because maximum our daily work we can do online like bill payment,ATM cash withdraw & Ticket booking no need to go bank or ticket counter. 
• Cost Saving - As we don,t need to buy more printer we can use one printer and share that printer to other users of network.Other examples CD/DVD.
