Computer -An Overview
Computer = A computer is a device that can be instructed to carry out sequence of arithmetic or logical operations automatically via computer programming.
Full Form of COMPUTER, which is said to be Common Operating Machine Particularly Used for Trade, Education, and Research. Computer is essentially derived from the word 'compute', which basically means 'calculate'.

In a computer there are two part Hardware and Software.
Server System Software
PC/Client Application Software
Hardware - All the physical components that you can see,touch or feel ,inside a computer or related peripheral,can be classified as Hardware.
Ex - MBD ,Processor , Ram etc.
Software - A Set of programs is called as software.Software is kind of two types.
System Software - The set of programs that controls the function of the Hardware (the system) is called as system software. They are commonly known as operating systems.Such software allows a user to load and execute programs. It controls the peripheral devices and allocates resources to users in case of a multi-user environment.
Ex. -MS-Dos,Microsoft windows 10,Linux,Unix
Application Software -The set of programs that are written for the purpose of performing a specific application like Billing,Payroll management etc are called as application software.
Ex.- MS Word ,Adobe Acrobat Reader ,Adobe Photoshop.
